Historian & Investigator

Brian Flanagan has 30 years of police experience and comes to us from the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP), Econ Police. Brian holds a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice from Central Connecticut State University (CCSU).

 

He has received numerous police-related training which includes the CCSU Detective Certification Prorgam in 2021. Prior to serving with the Econ Police, Brian served with the Coventry, CT Police Department for 25 years. During his extensive career in Coventry, he also served as a Field Training Officer, a member of the Tolland County Multidisciplinary Team, and was appointed as the department's first Detective in 1999, where he stayed for several years.
